Wind tunnel for school training
To perform various aeraulic tests during different courses to train our future engineers, a Dutch school has invested in a ø1250mm axial fan capable of generating an air speed of 150km/h.
This fan is equipped with fixed guide vanes to achieve an improved efficiency of almost 80% and to obtain a laminar flow at the outlet.
It is driven by pulleys and belts. The 75 kW motor is equipped with an encoder that allows a very low speed to be set using an inverter.
