We’re looking for a Junior Technical Engineer to support our sales and production teams. Your main tasks will include calculations, preparing technical documents, planning, and ensuring compliance with regulations for our IF products. You’ll also manage inventory, create codes and BOMs, and track ongoing projects while working closely with production. This role offers numerous opportunities to grow both technically and professionally.
Main Activities
- Technical Support: Assist the sales team by performing calculations, preparing detailed technical files, and creating manuals.
- Development & Improvement: Contribute to the improvement of machines internally and transform ideas into technical plans.
- Regulation and Standards: Learn and apply technical standards for IF products.
- Inventory Management: Manage components for our products and optimize information in SAP.
- Production Support: Monitor production processes and provide support for technical developments.
- Knowledge Sharing: Share the technical knowledge gained at Almeco and attend training for professional growth.
Specific Activities
Project Support: Assist with the selection and validation of specific requests from internal partners.
Supplier Relations: Visit strategic suppliers and stay updated on trends and innovations.
- Consulting and Expertise: Offer advice on standards (Atex, API) and design aspects (rigidity, vibration analysis).
Safety & Environment
- VCA Certification: Ensure compliance with VCA procedures and proactively report on safety.
- Sustainability: Take initiative to develop sustainable solutions in the production process.
Qualifications
- Degree : Industrial Engineering degree or equivalent technical training.
- Languages : French, with a basic knowledge of Dutch and English.
- Other Skills : Basic knowledge of MS Office; SAP is a plus.
