Job Description
We are looking for a Technical Engineer to support our sales and production teams. This position offers many opportunities for technical and professional development.
Your Responsibilities
Main Activities
- Technical Support: Assist the sales team by performing complex calculations, preparing detailed technical files, and creating manuals.
- Development & Improvement: Contribute to the improvement or modification of machines according to specifications and assist in the design of new concepts.
- Regulations and Standards: Learn and apply technical standards relevant to IF products.
- Stock Management: Manage product components and optimize information within SAP.
- Production Support: Follow production processes and provide support for technical developments.
- Knowledge Sharing: Share the technical knowledge acquired at Almeco and attend trainings to further develop skills.
Specific Activities
- Project Support: Assist in the selection and validation of specific requests from internal partners.
- Supplier Relations: Visit strategic suppliers and stay informed about trends and innovations.
- Advice and Expertise: Provide guidance on standards (ATEX, API) and design aspects (rigidity, vibration analysis).
Safety & Environment
- VCA Certification: Ensure compliance with VCA procedures and proactively report on safety matters.
- Sustainability: Take the initiative to develop sustainable solutions within the production process.
Your Profile
Required Qualifications
- Degree: Industrial Engineer or equivalent technical education with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Languages: French and/or Dutch, with knowledge of English.
- IT Skills: Basic knowledge of MS Office; experience with SolidWorks/3D software; SAP knowledge is an asset.
