Job Description
As a Technical Engineer in the industrial fans (IF) department, you will be the key figure between R&D, sales and production. You will help to optimise and develop fans, provide support with calculations and technical solutions, and ensure improvements in production and testing facilities. If you are passionate about technical challenges and innovative projects, then this position is for you!
Your Responsibilities
The role of IF technical engineer can be divided into several areas:
Research and development:
- You are responsible for optimising existing designs and machines, both mechanically and aerodynamically.
- You design new concepts.
- You carry out vibration analyses and investigations
Technical sales support:
- You perform mechanical calculations and designs.
- You will analyse customer requirements and apply this to a working concept.
- You will perform aerodynamic performance tests.
- You will conduct research into technical standards.
Production support:
- You will make improvements to existing products and design new production resources to implement internal improvements.
- You will be responsible for maintaining and improving test facilities.
Others:
- You implement technical rules and regulations.
- You are the right-hand man of the production manager.
- You do administrative work and draw up data sheets and manuals.
Your Profile
- You are technically proficient in drawing using Solid Works, Inventor, Catia or other drawing programmes.
- You have a master's degree in electromechanics or equivalent through experience.
- You are technically minded and are not afraid to put something together yourself from time to time.
- You have knowledge of industrial applications.
- You can strictly follow procedures and working methods. You have knowledge of both Dutch and French (English is a plus).
- A VCA-VOL certificate is a plus.
