About this position
As a Project Engineer, you will translate client specifications into functional designs for heat exchangers and pressure vessels. You will optimize designs, perform strength calculations using specialized software, and manage material procurement. Additionally, you will prepare project budgets and quotes, and work closely with the internal team to ensure smooth project execution.
Your Responsibilities
- Translating customer specifications and quotation requests to the functional design of heat exchangers and pressure vessels
- Engineering of innovative, technical solutions for customer requests
- Calculating and optimising design and process parameters using specific software (HTRI)
- Strength calculations of process equipment using software (PVElite) in accordance with design codes
- Request prices from suppliers
- Priming of budget and quotation
- Monitoring of project achievements
- Liaison with internal drawing office and workplace
Your Profile
Education:
- Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
Experience/Skills:
- 3 to 5 years of experience, preferably in an engineering role.
- Proficiency in Dutch, French, and English, both spoken and written.
- Strong ability to work autonomously, with a creative and problem-solving mindset.
- Detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy in all tasks.
- Highly driven, with a strong sense of initiative and responsibility.
- Excellent team player, able to collaborate effectively with others to achieve common goals.
