Maintenance technician
About this position
To strengthen our team in Mouscron, we are looking for a technical talent who enjoys getting stuck in. Do you have experience with maintenance and mechanical work, and do you enjoy working across different locations? Then you might be the colleague we are looking for!
As a Maintenance Technician, you will primarily be responsible for the maintenance and repair of cooling towers. This can range from industrial cleaning to mechanical inspections of the installations. Most of your time will be spent on various field interventions. Work in our workshop will mainly focus on preparing your external site visits or supporting our internal production team across all business units.
Your responsibilities
- You perform preventive and corrective maintenance on cooling towers.
- You are responsible for both standard maintenance work and mechanical maintenance.
- You assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- You contribute to various maintenance assignments and are willing to support other business units when needed.
- You work primarily on site at customer locations and are prepared for early starts, often around 6:00 AM.
- Depending on the location and nature of the job, overnight stays may be required.
Who you are
- You have a technical background and/or relevant experience in maintenance and mechanics.
- You work accurately, independently, and with a strong focus on safety.
- You are flexible and comfortable working at different locations or spending an occasional night away from home.
- You hold a valid category B driver's license.
- A VCA-VOL certificate is required.
- You are fluent in French. Knowledge of Dutch and/or English is a plus.
- You are not afraid of physical labor and enjoy getting your hands dirty.
