About this position
As a Business Unit Leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and sustainable, profitable growth of your Business Unit. You combine technical expertise with market insight and leadership skills to elevate customers, processes, and your team to the next level.
In this key position, you will work closely with the COO and CEO to achieve business objectives and contribute to overall revenue and profitability.
Your Profile
Technical expertise:
- Experience with projects in the process industry
- Understanding of P&IDs, block diagrams, and process documentation
- Basic knowledge of piping, mechanical constructions, and static process equipment (e.g. heat exchangers, evaporators, condensers)
- Skilled in energy balances and a solid understanding of steam systems
- Applicable knowledge of physics (e.g. specific heat, pressure losses, cavitation)
Leadership and team development:
- Inspiring leader with a motivating approach and strong communication skills
- Flexible and solution-oriented, with a focus on professionalisation and innovation
- Able to attract, retain and grow talent within the team
Strategic business leadership:
- Insight into market trends and customer needs
- Strong in relationship management, closing deals, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Profit-driven through quality control, process optimisation, and cost management
Your background
Education:
- Master's degree in Engineering Sciences, preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience:
- At least 7 years of experience in a relevant technical or technological industry.
