About this position
As a Business Unit Leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and sustainable, profitable growth of your unit. You combine technical expertise, market knowledge, and leadership skills to elevate clients, processes, and the team to the next level.
In this key role, you will work closely with the COO to achieve the company’s goals and contribute to its revenue and overall profitability.
Your Responsibilities
Technical Expertise:
- Experience in project management within the process industry.
- Knowledge of P&IDs, functional diagrams, and process documentation.
- Basic knowledge of piping, mechanical structures, and static process equipment (e.g., heat exchangers, evaporators, condensers).
- Skills in energy balances and a basic understanding of steam systems.
- Applicable knowledge of physics and thermodynamics.
Leadership and Team Development:
- Inspiring leader with a motivating approach and excellent communication skills.
- Flexible and solution-oriented, with a strong focus on professionalization and innovation.
- Ability to attract, retain, and develop talent within teams.
Strategic and Business Leadership:
- Strong understanding of market developments and customer needs.
- Expertise in relationship management, closing deals, and improving customer satisfaction.
- Focused on profitability through quality control, process optimization, and cost management.
Your Profile
Education:
- A master’s degree in a technical field (preferably civil engineer, bio-engineer, or industrial engineer).
Experience
- At least 7 years of experience in a relevant technical or technological sector.
