The organisation designs products such as sound booths, sound barriers, ventilation silencers and soundproof hoods, while also offering a complete range of services: acoustic studies, measurements and acoustic treatments for every situation.
You will be part of a team that deals with acoustics, vibration control and consulting, with a tailor-made approach for each sector. The organisation is located on the French-Belgian border and can deliver tailor-made acoustic solutions anywhere in France and Belgium, with the same high quality standards.
Your responsibilities
As a project engineer, you are the key figure who combines technical know-how with commercial insight. You supervise projects from start to finish and are the point of contact for customers, suppliers and internal teams.
- Commercial: you actively contribute to expanding the customer base, establish contacts, make appointments and follow up with customers.
- Analysis and solution: you study the customer's needs and translate these into appropriate technical and commercial solutions. You draw up quotations and validate them with the customer.
- Project management: you monitor the progress of projects and supervise progress and financial results. To this end, you work together with the design office and purchase specific materials if necessary.
- Implementation: you are the link between the customer and the implementation team, check the installations and ensure that each project is delivered correctly.
Your profile
- You combine technical expertise with commercial skills and preferably have several years of experience (at least 5 years).
- Knowledge of acoustic techniques, sheet metal working and/or ventilation is an advantage.
- You understand both the technical and financial aspects of a project.
- You are an industrial engineer or have equivalent experience.
- You work in a structured manner, are results-oriented and have an entrepreneurial mindset.
- There is close cooperation between the teams in Douvrin and Mouscron (head office), which means that the role is based in Douvrin and regular attendance in Mouscron is expected.
