Wind tunnel for school training
In order to carry out several aeraulic tests during different courses to train our future engineers, a Dutch school has invested in a ø1250mm axial fan capable of generating an air speed of 150km/h.
This fan is equipped with fixed guide vanes in order to obtain an improved efficiency close to 80% and to obtain a laminar flow at the outlet.
He is driven by pulleys and belts. The 75kW motor is equipped with an encoder allowing adjustment to a very low speed with the use of a variable speed drive.
