When building a new line for the chemical pre-treatment and powder coating of aluminium profiles, the company Wilms (Meerhout) chose PCA to handle its water management. The objective was to eliminate any waste water.

For a physico-chemical purification station, we have developped the update of an electrical cabinet which functioned with an older model of PLC (Siemens S5). We have installed a PLC Siemens S7-313C with a Siemens touch screen 10". For the emergency shutdown for this installation, we used a programmable shutdown relay to divide the different areas of the installation.
For this project, we were dealing with an installation with more power. The master switch of 400A drives 2 pumps of 55kW and 2 industrial fans of 7,5 kW.
PCA developped 8 mobile pilot installations. With these pilote installations Vlakwa can offer small & medium companies and the agri- & horticultural sector a temporary watertreatment installation. Vlakwa can research with these installations how to diminish the water consumption and respect the environmental directions.
